Tom was hoping for a high-level position in the new Administration, if not the Vice Presidency, then at least as the Southern Border Czar. Tom believes that he is qualified for either job since he has visited the Southern Border many times, “not today,” but in the previous century. Tom has also giggled at inappropriate moments during his long Government career, and almost as long retirement. Tom is convinced that he more than meets the high standards required for the jobs. In addition, Tom feels that he is a good fit for the Biden Administration since he has a lot in common with the new President: both are old white guys who ride Amtrack.

Tom did not have better luck running with the bulls in 2021 than in past years. But at lease this year Tom was gored by a bull who did not de-pants him. Tom was able to go to the hospital fully clothed and with his dignity. Tom's fellow runners are happy that he is still running with the bulls, because they know that they do not have to run faster than the bulls, just Tom.

Tom is well known for traveling the world on the cheap, now he has journeyed into space in economy class. However, in order for Tom to merit the title of “Astronaut” he had to become a crewmember. Tom's job as a crewman was to clean up the dog poop. Tom remains a designated “Passenger.”

After watching a news story on the President's son Hunter, Tom grabbed the opportunity to make a quick buck without working. Tom promptly enrolled in Hunter's on-line fine arts course for beginners and graduated with honors in 3 days. Within a week, Tom was selling his art for $75,000 for works on paper and $500,000 for the larger canvases.

When his good friend Barack Obama cut back his 60th Birthday Party Bash to only 200 of his closest friends, Tom was pleased that he made the final cut. The New York Times reporter stated that Tom was part of a crowd that was “sophisticated” and therefore, safe from COVID. Wearing masks and social distancing are only precautions that the common, unsophisticated, riffraff has to follow. Tom felt sorry for the losers who did not make the cut such as Nancy Pelosi, Stephen Colbert, Larry David, David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, and the White House's top adviser David Axelrod. Tom had reserved his first dance for Nancy, but had to settle dancing with Chrissy Teigen, to the chagrin of John Legend. Tom began the weekend playing golf with the President where he let the Birthday Boy win, and closed with a Sunday Brunch, where Tom offered to leave the tip.
